Our Approach
Our approach to training has evolved over the last 20 years, below is a brief outline of the stages we work through for each programme we create.

Design
Once we have a clear idea of the business need the training will address, we start the design phase. We aim to make our training challenging, interactive and above all practical and will work with your steering group along the way to ensure the design addresses the need. Where possible we look to include real cases studies from your business, and we prefer to blend the solution so that the delegates are engaged prior to the programme as well as having access to further support post programme.
Deliver
We have experience of delivering on small and large scale, using face to face, live virtual, recorded virtual and traditional e-learning. Our trainers are experts in their fields and are passionate about enabling their delegates. We will happily involve your internal training faculty or subject matter experts for co-delivery where this would add value for the delegates.
Embed
For the learning to be successful it needs to transfer from the classroom or the computer screen into words and actions in the workplace. This can be the through post programme coaching and support from the trainers, by phone or on-line; follow up e-learning and reading lists or through support for the delegates’ line managers who are seeing new behaviours in practice.
Evaluate
We look to evaluate our programmes at point of delivery (to assess initial reaction) and again back in the workplace to determine whether the business is seeing the improvements in knowledge/skills or changes in behaviour as defined in the needs analysis stage. We believe that proper evaluation can only be carried out with the support of the line managers and the direct reports who are seeing the results day in day out in the work place.
Feedback
It is essential to ensure that to complete the process we refer back to the original brief and discuss the outcomes as compared to the objectives of the programme. Feedback from all stakeholders; delegates, client sponsors, decision makers and trainers offers an opportunity to refine and adjust the programme for future groups and to assess whether the programme identified new training competencies to develop.
Support
We understand that training is an investment in people with a substantial resource involvement. We also appreciate that there are many competing demands on the HR, L&D and Finance functions. We offer support on every step of the way, either through our dedicated client relationship management team or from the trainers involved in design and delivery. We are also happy to work with your pre-existing house styles and evaluation methodologies if required.
